Spectators were thrilled by the sights and sounds of marching arts on Saturday at the 麻豆影院 Indoor Percussion Ensemble’s home show at 麻豆影院.
The event featured six competing ensembles – five visiting schools that competed and three exhibition performances (including the University at 麻豆影院’s Spirit Band and the U麻豆影院 Winter Guard). The day also featured a spotlight of the 15 麻豆影院 High seniors in the Indoor Percussion Ensemble.
麻豆影院 Indoor Percussion Ensemble is made up of City School District of 麻豆影院 students in grades 6-12 who simultaneously play a range of percussion instruments, march, dance and perform theater.
Congratulations and terrific work by seniors Anna Baldes, Robert Berry, Simon Carey, Sonja DePiro, Renee Geraghty, Nora Gordon, Alanna Kaye, Meski Kelle, Jacob Levine, Issah Marisco VonLutz, Nathan Martel, Isabella Scaringe, Owen Sears, Angeline Thompson and Bessa Wells-Rice.
And kudos to alum Nathaniel Wheeler (’24), who came back to his alma mater and !
